Instructors

In order to provide the best possible experience for Stepping Stones participants, GEODE's goal is to provide expert instructors both from within GEODE's staff and from the Greater Sudbury community. Although individual instructors will vary from cohort to cohort, here are some of the expert instructors that GEODE calls upon to provide guidance to our clients:

John Marunchak

John Marunchak has a diverse background in both teaching and business. John has taught in both South Korea and Japan, and also at Laurentian University and Cambrian College in Sudbury. In 2005, John graduated with a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies from the University of Victoria, and he was awarded an Honours Degree in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario in 2001. While completing his undergraduate degree, John also studied at the Richard Ivey School of Business. He has worked as an International Sales Manager for AYR1.com in Sudbury and as an Account Manager for Pitney Bowes of Canada. Prior to joining GEODE, John ran his own tutoring business, English Language Academic Tutoring (ELAT).
