About Stepping Stones The Stepping Stones Entrepreneurship Program (SSEP) provides business skills training to help individuals build a viable business plan. During the course of the program, participants will be exposed to valuable social and professional networking opportunities.

Upon completion of the program, our clients can apply for micro loans that will lend support and strength to their new or existing enterprise.

Business Training

In the Stepping Stones Entrepreneurship Program, participants will study the importance of business planning, market and industry research techniques, marketing strategies, and financial forecasting.

Courses are taught by GEODE staff, as well as external partners from the business community.

Micro Loans

Micro loans are awarded based on the merit and feasibility of the participant's business plan. The micro loans are meant to provide the entrepreneur with capital to help start or enhance an enterprise. The loans have a low fixed interest rate, and work towards building credit for the entrepreneur.
